Demolition job
April 2023
The Aztech Group recently assisted a major client with a community improvement scheme by undertaking the complete demolition of 50 derelict garages. The garages were a danger to local children and an eye saw to all who lived in the area. Once The Aztech Group had removed all asbestos materials, we then levelled the remaining garages creating large open spaces which can be developed and utilised by the local community.

Goodbye 2021. Hello 2022
2021 was another fantastic year for The Aztech Group! Our main success came from continued organic growth of the business and a focus on strengthening our relationships with existing clients through hard work and a focus on customer service. Probably our favourite project of 2021 was this fire damaged dairy shed in Carlisle. In addition to removing 1000m² of asbestos cement roof and wall panels, 500m² of asbestos cement debris from the floor (and surrounding areas) plus decontaminating five burnt out tractors, we also had to pump away and remove from site over 250’000 litres of contaminated water to access further asbestos debris within below ground slurry pits. It was a huge challenge which required a lot of planning and research to execute, but as always the job was done to the highest standard and the client was more than happy with the end product! Working in the rolling hills of Cumbria surrounded by stunning scenery and a heard of dairy cows for company also made the job a pleasure to be involved in. Well done team and here’s to an exciting year ahead.

The Aztech Group are proud to have recently been awarded a ‘Shining Star’ from Engie in recognition of consistently going above and beyond in regards to all things health and safety. Here’s what an Engie Health and Safety Manager had to say about us:
“During a recent discovery of Asbestos by an Engie tradesman, The Aztech Group were approached (Friday 4.30pm) and asked if they would contain a sample of the ACM (asbestos containing material) and send for Lab testing (this wasn’t their job). Without hesitation a member of The Aztech Group staff attended the site and took the sample for analysis. Fast / proactive / professional / co-operative team effort.”
Regeneration Project!
February 2021
As part of a neighbourhood improvement scheme in Hull, The Aztech Group worked with ‘Engie Regeneration’ and surveyed over 200 properties ahead of their refurbishment works beginning. We then assisted the client in the removal of all asbestos roof tiles which were in the areas of planned works – this ensured we created a safe working environment for everyone involved in the project. The Aztech Group takes pride in being involved in these community regeneration schemes and in building strong working relationships with high profile and trusted clients such as Engie.
Snow Survey!
January 2021
The snow didn’t stop our committed survey team last week! Kitted out with all weather gear and with the relevant training and equipment to get the job done. Our operatives completed this Asbestos Management Survey for our client in York despite the awful weather, great job team!
Fire Damage!
November 2020
Another environment made safe by The Aztech Group. This project was tricky for all sorts of reasons. The catastrophic fire had caused the structure to become unsafe so that needed dealing with first, the cement roof had collapsed contaminating everything below which became our priority once the building was made safe and then we had to figure out how to dispose of over 6 tons of burnt and charred metal (including a low loading truck). The project was completed on time and handed back to our client free from asbestos within five days of us arriving on site - another happy customer.
